This series consists of six claims by Indian Emergency Conservation Work (IECW) personnel for compensation based on injury or illness incurred during service with the IECW. Each claims file includes a statement of the IECW employee outlining the illness or injury, a report of investigation made by the Superintendent or project foreman, an acknowledgement by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, notice of injury or physician's statement, statement of witnesses, and approval or denial of claim by the U.S. Employees Compensation Commission.
